These pewter Salt and Pepper shakers were made by hand in Danforth's Middlebury Vermont workshop.
The shakers are 2.75 inches high x 2 inches in diameter at base tapering to 1 1/4 inches in diameter at the top. They are 100% lead-free fine pewter which meets or exceeds all FDA food-safety standards.
This pair is in VERY GOOD - EXCELLENT condition with one ding and some light scratches. The can use a good cleaning which may take care of some of the light scratches. Both shakers have the Danforth mark on the bottom and are signed Fred Danforth 1985 !!!
